Flamingo Gardens

 Flamingo Gardens

Florida

October 16th, we got up and ate breakfast, then we had to go somewhere...

It was a secret, so we wouldn't know where we were going till we got there.

As we arrived I saw flags with flamingos on them, with words saying: Flamingo Gardens

(my favorite animal is a flamingo)

We went in the gift shop to pay for a pass.

While my Mom did that, the rest of us looked around the shop.

Then, we went outside, first we went across the bridge to the right.

There was couple of birds that way, most of them were macaws.

Then we did the rest of that little loop, it was just a nature trail.

But before we crossed the bridge again, we went up a dead end to see a pond.

There was supposed to koi fish in the pond, but there wasn't any.

After that we crossed the bridge and went toward the flamingos!

On our way there there was huge statue of a flamingo, that I got my picture with.

Then we kept walking to the flamingos,

we got a little lost but then we found the flamingo café.

(that's where the flamingos are)

I got a bunch of picture's of the flamingos!

my photos:

(unfortunately, we could not feed them because they were out food)

(this is only a fraction of all of the photos I took)

(I organized the photos the best I could)

                                      >>>>this one got really close, and was pretty nice>>>

After we watched the flamingos, we rode the hay ride, it was just a trailer filled with hay.

Then we went back to the car to get lunch.

Once we finished eating we went behind the flamingos to see the other animals.

There were a bunch of birds, some alligators, a bear, and a cougar.

the two biggest alligators were HUGE.

Though we couldn't see the bear, because it was hiding in between two windows.

Then we got on the tram ride, we saw a tree with potato looking things hanging from it.

When we got off the tram ride we went to see the cougar.

After that we went to a field of fake grass with a HUGE walking tree that we played in.

Then we went to see a tree from India that had really cool flowers.

While we were there 3 peacocks walked up to us.

(no big surprise because there were peacocks everywhere)

Lastly we visited the Flamingos again and went home.

I hope you enjoyed!
