Kids view of RV-life

 Manatee Springs State Park  Florida Saturday September 24,  we arrived at Manatee spring around mid-day. When we got there I wrote about Fort Pickens on my blog,  My brothers played outside. When I was done we ate dinner. Then I read the latest book of the Wings of Fire , Flames of Hope by Tui Sutherland  series  until bed time. Sunday Sep 25,  we woke-up and ate breakfast.  My Mom made chocolate chip pancakes, they were delicious.   Then my brothers and my Dad went to swim in the spring. When they were gone I made some sketches that I will soon perfect and add them to my tiktok. [some sneak peeks] (The first one I drew was a Leopard Gecko sunning on a rock in the desert (a request). The second was a Silkwing sitting on a cliff watching the sunset. (A Silkwing is something from Wings of Fire.) Fort Pickens, Florida We got to Fort Pickens on Tuesday 20 Sep (early in the morning before we left Pop's house, my Mom saw an armadillo), we drove about 7 hours to get to Fort Pickens, and when we got there we could not check in until 2:30 PM. So we went to the beach, and we saw A LOT  of jellyfish. We walked down the beach for a little while, then turned around to go check in. Once we found our spot A-15, we unpacked and got ready to go to the beach. The beach was still covered in jellys so we had to be careful. The water was warm, but once I stepped out, it got cold. (even though it was around 90 degrees outside) After we were done with the beach, we took showers and ate dinner. We had sausages for dinner, they were okay.  Louisiana   My brother's birthdays!       We got to our pops's house a day early, which meant no one was there, so it was pretty boring on the first day.      The next day we played outside for a little while, then we went to our Grannie's house for a sleep over. When we got there we had lunch, then we went to play outside. After a little while, our cousins came over. It got a little crazy, but then we all had dinner. Then our cousins left, and me and my brothers went to bed.      The next day we wanted to stay another night but we had to do passports early in the morning. Around lunch our parents picked us up then we went to Pops's house. Then we helped our dad clean the camper with water guns... It turned into a water gun fight. Portaransas at the beach We finally got here after a 10-ish hour drive. We found a nice spot on the beach, and we set up there. It was late so really all we did was eat dinner. The next day we had to do school work before we could go play. (I'm home schooled) After I finished, I drew some art for my tiktok, then it was lunch time. After that we all went outside to play. The rest of the day was just beach stuff. The day after that we did almost the same thing, We woke up and did school-work, then played out side. I dug a really deep hole, it started filling with water it was so deep. After a little while of playing in the water, I dug another hole next to the first one. It wasn't as deep, but I did that on purpose, I dug a tunnel to connect the two holes. We fill the shorter one with water and it poured into the other one, it eroded a lot of it I got a slow-mow video of it, it was really cool. The rest of the day we did beach day. Grand Canyon 2 part 2: south rim Day one: (mixes with day four from part 1) we drove from the north rim to the south rim. When we got to the south rim we drove to the visitor center to get trail maps, and south rim junior ranger books. (completely different from the north rim book)  After that we drove to the national forest nearby to find a camping spot. when we did, me and my brother went exploring! All we found was a long dirt road. We went back to the camper, because it started raining. Day two: we woke up early again so we could do some hiking. We decided to hike from the end to the visitor center. (we took a shuttle-bus to the end) When we got tired we would just take a shuttle-bus back. Every single time there was an overlook we would stop for 5 min, it got very annoying. But some of the overlooks had wonderful views. Then we took a shuttle-bus back to our car, and wondered around. Grand Canyon 1 part one: north rim Day One: we arrived at the north rim in a nice place in the woods. (The only drawback was that we were an hour away from the park.) After dinner my dad went to check the fire regulations, to see if we could have a fire. When he came back my brother started the fire. Nothing else really happened that day. Day Two: we woke up early to get to the park. Once we got there we walked to the visitor center so we could get our Junior ranger books, and a trail map. Then we went on the scenic drive, we drove a long way to the end.  we ate lunch at the end. After lunch we looked at the overlook then drove back. On the way back we stopped at every overlook, and if there was a short hike we would do it. Then we went home. Day Three: we got up early again so we could do a hike. The hike was 4 miles total, it went to an old lookout tower. The hike was uphill most of the way. When we got closer to the top, we saw a ton of baby horned lizards! They were SO cut...
