High line trail
High-Line Trail
(11.8 miles)
when we started to hike, immediately we saw a mountain goat!
I got some really cool videos, if you want to see it visit the link bellow
the beginning has a railing so don't worry, but that's only for the first 200' (200 feet)
also the first half of mile is a sheer drop off, then its spotty the rest of the way.
once we got into the trees I saw a marmot! but he was behind roots so I didn't get a good view
then we kept walking, it did get kind of boring but the trail had some awesome views to offer
when we got to an opening we saw another marmot,
he was eating rocks!😂 if you want to watch it click the link bellow

then we reached butte, to get to it though, you must first cross a glacier,
then hike up a half mile of steep incline.
(this is the only part that is up, the rest of the trail is completely down)
when we got to the top we saw 3 more marmots (estimation)
to see one of them, pick a link bellow!

as we walked we passed multiple waterfalls, and had to walk though them most of the time
the waterfalls were nice though, they cooled us down.
once we got to the Granit Park Chalet, we took a nice long brake,
and got some snacks.
but then we still had 4 miles to go. luckily it was mostly shaded.
on our way down me and my mom saw 3 deer
(my brothers and my dad only saw 2 because they were walking to fast)
when we finally got to the bottom, we played in the river for a while,
then went to the parking-lot to wait for a shuttle bus
^_^
thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed.
Very good description!
