The Keys

In Florida!

(this blog might be written weird because this all happened last year)

about a year ago we visited the keys

we were there for about 2 weeks, while we were there we had a ton of fun.

we also had a nasty storm that caused a power outage.

on the fist day we found our self a nice campground to stay in.

it was right on the water, which was awesome because it was a really hot day ang it was going

to be that way the entire time we were there...

On the second day we drove around the neighborhood looking at houses,

we also went to key west, the most western island in the keys

(there is nothing for a kid to do there, it was very boring)

On the next day we went fishing, we didn't have to go any where

because like I said we camped on the water

I didn't really fish, I just put my feet in the water.

but my brother did go fishing and while he was, a pelican pooped on him!

A little while later I saw a lion fish in the water right below me!

(there quills are poisonous)

now the next my brother went fishing again but this time he caught something BIG...

A SHARK!!!🦈

can you believe it!

as he was reeling it in, it free, but it got really close, so close that we almost got it on land.

after that, a new day began,

we had a lot of fun in the morning, fishing, swimming, etc. etc. etc.

but the afternoon was crazy, we had a huge storm.

as the wind blue the camper felt like it would fly away,

and the thunder was so loud it practically shook the camper

After the storm you could see the sun shining through the clouds, it was nice and moist outside.

one of the days in the second week

we rented a boat...

once we got into the water we drove deeper out and looked on the map for a fun island to visit.

we found one called crane island, we stopped there to explore, we found an old camp.

after that we drove off to a sandbar looking thing on the map

when we got there it wasn't a sandbar at all, it was just supper clear water.

(about 9 feet deep)

we tried to go swimming there but the water was moving to fast, even though we were in the ocean

then we found another island to stop and eat lunch, we didn't stay long

again we search for the right island we found a couple

but we never found a perfect one.

soon it got close to dinner time so returned to boat and went home.

a couple days later we went on our next adventure
